A Loogootee man has been arrested following an investigation into alleged possession of child sex abuse material. Indiana State Police say 32-year-old Trevor Moffatt was taken into custody Tuesday after officers executed a search warrant at a residence. The investigation began in February after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicated possible illegal activity. Authorities say evidence was obtained during the investigation, and electronic devices were seized. Moffatt was arrested and transported to the Martin County Jail. He is currently facing a Level 5 felony charge of possession of child sex abuse material. Officials say forensic analysis of the devices is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
