Terrence Kent “Terry” Bradley, age 61, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
Terry was born on March 25, 1965, and was the beloved son of Charles Bradley and Oenone (Arvin) Bradley. Though adopted, Terry was deeply loved and cherished by his family throughout his life.
In 1983, Terry proudly answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and honor. Following his military service, he became self-employed, working with computers, where he applied his intelligence and problem-solving skills.
Terry found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid reader, with a particular interest in military books, and could often be found lost in the pages of a good story. He had a deep love for animals and a gentle spirit that drew him outdoors, where he enjoyed taking peaceful walks and appreciating nature.
A man of faith, Terry was a devoted member of St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee, where he found comfort and community.
Those left to cherish Terry’s memory include his loving brother, Tom (Shawna) Bradley of Washington; his dear nieces and nephews, Joshua Bradley, Sarah Rutz, Jonathon Bradley, and Shaina Bradley; and his six great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter Bradley, Connor Bradley, Calen Bradley, Chance Bradley, Gracelynn Rutz, and Mason Rutz.
Terry will be remembered for his gentle heart, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church in Loogootee, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the church, with Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Martin Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Martin Cemetery Fund, 408 Church Street, Loogootee, IN 47553.
