Schnucks Markets has announced plans to permanently close its Schnucks Fresh location in Jasper. Company officials say the store will shut down on Sunday, May 24 at 6 p.m. The location first opened in August of 2021. Employees at the Jasper store will be given the option to transfer to another Schnucks location, including stores in the Evansville area, or accept a severance package. Customers will still be able to earn and use Schnucks Rewards points up until the store’s closing date.
