Pike Central Teacher Charged with Obstruction, Official Misconduct

A Pike County teacher is facing felony charges, according to the Pike County Prosecutor’s Office. Prosecutor Darrin McDonald announced that 46-year-old Abigail Vinnedge of Stendal, a teacher at Pike Central High School, has been charged with obstruction of justice and official misconduct. Both charges are Level 6 felonies. Officials say a summons has been issued for Vinnedge to appear in court at a later date. No additional details about the case have been released.
