Sharon Sue (Elliott) Taylor, 87, of Bruceville, Indiana, went to her heavenly home on February 25, 2023 in Vincennes. She was born in Hazleton, Indiana, on September 6, 1935 to the late Allen and Zella Myrtle (Walters) Elliott.

On February 3, 1962, Sharon married the love of her life Raymond Taylor in Evansville, Indiana. He precedes her in death. Sharon was a high school graduate, Class of 1953, at Hazleton High School. She was employed as the Town Clerk of Bruceville, Lodge of the Wabash and CFS.

Those left to mourn the loss of Sharon are her daughters: Michelle Richardville and Lea Rae (John) Luttrell; brother: Lindy (Regina) Elliott, grandchildren: Jamie (Luke) Rogers of Olathe, KS, John Luttrell III of Vincennes, Amanda (Chad) Kiser of Vincennes, Seth Luttrell of Bruceville, Amber (BJ) King, Nicole (Jimmie) Carrie of Vincennes, Brent (Derek) Richardville-Lund of Colorado Springs, CO, great grandchildren: Rachel (Jacob) Mahoney, Kaleigh Houchins, Louisville, KY, Gavin and Jaxson Kiser, Kamdyn, Korbyn, and Kynlee King, Owen Carrie, and Marcus Luttrell all of Vincennes, great-great grandson, Charlie Mahoney. Sharon is preceded in death by: her parents, Allen and Zella Myrtle (Walters) Elliott and son, Mark Sullivan, brothers: Warren, Melvin, Carl and Duane Elliott.

She was an avid reader and was a member of the Bruceville United Methodist Church. She loved Gospel and all kinds of music. Sharon loved her children, grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren. They kept her young. She also had a faithful companion – Peyton, her dog.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 10 a.m.- 1p.m. Funeral service at 1p.m. at the Fredrick and Son McClure Utt Funeral home in Bruceville, Indiana. Burial to follow at Bruceville Cemetery. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Sharon Sue (Elliott) Taylor.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the St Jude Research Foundation.
