Jaimee Robinson, 46, of Vincennes, was arrested Sunday night for driving under the influence and other charges. Trooper Lee pulled Robinson over on Washington Avenue in Vincennes due to a defective headlight and improper license plate display. Robinson’s three children were in the car with her, and Trooper Lee smelled marijuana. Robinson displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. Two of Robinson’s daughters, Janalyn Robinson, 23, and Brianna Robinson, 18, were found to have marijuana in their possession. Robinson’s 10-year-old son was also in the back seat. A further investigation revealed that Robinson was under the influence of methamphetamine, marijuana, and amphetamines. Robinson was taken to the Knox County Jail, and her daughters were cited and released to family members. The 10-year-old boy was also released to his family.
