Paul “Rick” Richard Rehwald, 71 , passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Rick was born on April 20, 1951 and is the son of the late Norman and Silvia (Cantwell) Rehwald. He married the love of his life, Marsha (Laymon) Rehwald and have been married for 52 wonderful years.
For the past 20 years, Rick has worked for Bestway Trucking. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, being outdoors, and spending time with his family that he adored.
Rick is survived by his wife, Marsha; children, Christopher Rehwald (Metzie), and Angela Catt (Brian); grandchildren, Daniel Hand, Joshua Rehwald (Madi), Olivia Catt, and Hannah Dyson (Tucker); great grandchildren, Osias and Beau. He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Silvia (Cantwell) Rehwald; brother, Chuck Rehwald; sister, Brenda Laue.
Visitation for Paul will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 7000 S Decker Road, Vincennes, Indiana, 47591. His funeral service will start promptly at 1:00 pm with Pastor Nathan Rastl officiating. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Rick.
