Jasper Community Arts Announces Exciting Lineup for 2023-2024 Season

Jasper Community Arts is thrilled to unveil its highly anticipated lineup of performances for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Featuring a diverse range of talent, this season promises to captivate audiences with a mix of Main Stage, Backstage, Live at the Astra, and Family Fun performances.

The Main Stage Series will showcase exceptional shows, including the mesmerizing one-woman performance “Bette Davis Ain’t For Sissies,” taking audiences into the captivating world of the legendary Hollywood icon. Country music lovers can look forward to the timeless harmonies and infectious energy of the award-winning Diamond Rio. Additionally, the classic tale “A Christmas Carol” will spread joy and the true spirit of the holiday season. Chris Mann will dazzle with his show “Bennett: From Gershwin to Gaga,” paying tribute to the legendary Tony Bennett. And the incomparable Lea Salonga will grace the stage, showcasing her exceptional vocal talent.

The Backstage Series will offer intimate and unique performances, featuring artists such as Dala with their soul-stirring harmonies, and the internationally acclaimed pianist Julian Gargiulo, known for his virtuosity and charisma. Okaidja Afroso will bring a captivating fusion of sounds and cultures, drawing from his rich African musical heritage.

The Live at the Astra Series will provide evenings of laughter and musical brilliance, featuring the hilarious Keith Alberstadt and the sensational jazz and gypsy swing ensemble, The Black Market Trust. Audiences can also celebrate love and romance with the Valentine’s Day-inspired performance, “My Funny Valentine,” featuring comedians Amy Barnes and Pat Hazell.

For families, the Family Fun performance will present the delightful Popovich Pet Comedy Theater, enchanting audiences of all ages with the remarkable talents of trained animals and their human companions.

Season guides, containing detailed information about the performances, venues, and ticketing options, will be available in early June. Subscribers will have priority seating and exclusive benefits by renewing their tickets before June 30. New subscribers can purchase tickets starting July 1, while individual tickets for all performances will go on sale to the general public on August 2 at 10:00 AM Eastern.
