A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and pickup truck is under investigation in Posey County. Deputies say the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of State Road 62 and St. Phillips Road. Initial reports indicate a motorcycle traveling eastbound collided with a pickup truck that was turning south onto West Franklin Road. The female motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver of the truck was not injured and was taken to the hospital for a blood test as part of the investigation. Authorities say the crash remains under investigation, and the names of those involved have not yet been released pending family notification.
