Polls are open today for the May 5 primary election in Martin County, with multiple voting locations available for residents. Voting is taking place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at designated sites across the county. In Loogootee, Perry 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 will vote at St. John’s Lower Center, while Perry 5 & Rutherford will vote at St. Martin’s Church Hall, and Perry 7 & Crane will vote at Bramble Conservation Center. Mitcheltree & North Center will vote at Dover Hill Church of Christ. North Halbert, South Halbert, East and West Memphis will vote at St. Mary’s Church Hall in Shoals. Lost River, South Center, and Southeast Halbert will vote at the Shoals American Legion. Officials remind residents to head to their assigned polling location before 6 p.m. to cast their ballot.
