A French Lick man was arrested Friday following an Indiana State Police investigation into allegations of child molestation. Scotty L. Settles, 40, was taken into custody at his home around 12:05 p.m. without incident. He faces two Level 1 felony charges of child molesting. The investigation began in April and was led by ISP Detective Tyler Matthew. After reviewing the case, the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant on June 27. Settles is being held in the Orange County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
