From forgotten bank accounts to uncashed checks and utility deposits, Hoosiers could be missing out on money that belongs to them. The site allows users to quickly search for items like:
Unclaimed wages
Overpaid bills or refunds
Old checking/savings accounts
Safety deposit box contents
Credit card balances
To help avoid future unclaimed funds, officials recommend keeping track of accounts, cashing checks promptly, and maintaining records of deposits and dividends.
