A three-vehicle injury crash occurred Saturday afternoon in the 4800 block of North 1200 East near Loogootee. Dispatch received the call just before 4:45 p.m., reporting that one vehicle had gone into an embankment and that two vehicles were blocking a lane of traffic. Emergency responders from multiple fire departments, law enforcement, and EMS were dispatched to the scene. Officials on scene reported that everyone involved was okay, though at least one vehicle sustained significant damage and required a tow. Medics evaluated three people before clearing the scene. Crews remained on site until shortly before 6:45 p.m. A state crash report is pending.
