Shoals Council to Discuss Projects, Properties, and Town Updates

The Shoals Town Council will hold its regular monthly meeting today at 5 p.m. at Shoals Town Hall. During the meeting, council members are expected to cover a wide range of topics, including updates on UV filtration and lagoon compliance, recreational court improvements, ballpark repairs, and Wi-Fi hotspot expansion. Additional discussion items include parking concerns, abandoned properties, ballpark security cameras, and several administrative matters such as Google Workspace fees, expired warrants, and town meters. Other items on the agenda include a mowing trial, conflict of interest forms, a townwide yard sale, updates on the local land bank and ballpark board, including equipment installation and adding a new member. Officials note Town Hall will be closed May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. The next regular council meeting is scheduled for May 18 at 5 p.m.
