First Responders Dispatched

At 11:25 pm on Wednesday first responders were dispatched to a residence regarding a 35 year old not breathing with CPR in progress.

Washington Police Departments 3rd shift were first on the scene.

It is believed that if it had not been for the fast action and life saving measures by the officers and first responders and citizens on the scene the person would not have survived.

Assisting the WPD was the Washington City Fire Dept and Daviess Community Hospital EMS.

Police department officials say they are encouraging the public to report any suspected illegal drug activity taking place in the community to Central Dispatch at 812-254-1060 or to crimetips@washingtonin.us.
