Tornadoes Touch Down in Indiana: NWS Reports Multiple Funnel Clouds Across Counties

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis reports five tornadoes in the Hoosier State last night in Shelby, Rush, and Decatur Counties. The storms were rated EF 1 and 2, with one unknown due to no observed damage. The weather service says they have clear video evidence of the touchdowns. The main damage reported was trees and power lines, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The weather service reminds residents to have a plan in place as they can strike quickly and bring danger this time of year. Locally, winds, rain, thunder, and lightening. Power outages occurred last night for around an hour in Washington.
