Giving Tuesday Daviess County is Today, December 2, offering residents a full day to support local nonprofits through a countywide celebration of generosity. Our Community Foundation is again providing a free online donation platform at localforever.org, where 100% of contributions go directly to participating organizations. This year’s nonprofits include Barr-Reeve Soccer Club, Discover Downtown Washington, First Choice Solutions, Little Warrior Wishes, the Odon Winkelpleck Library, RSVP of Daviess County, United Way, Washington Band Boosters, Washington Baseball Club, the Washington Primary Playground Project, Youth First, and more. Donors may also give to any charitable fund managed by the Foundation. Local media partners—Shake Broadcasting, the Washington Times-Herald, and the Odon Journal—will recognize organizations based on donor participation.
