Jacob Stephens has officially filed to run for Daviess County Council District 3. Stephens is a Washington High School graduate with degrees in finance, business administration, and supply chain management. He currently works in the commercial trucking industry and says his professional background in cost management and negotiation would guide his approach on the council. Stephens also coaches basketball at Washington High School and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Daviess County Republican Party. He says he hopes to bring new ideas and a younger perspective to county government. The Primary Election will be held May 5, with the General Election scheduled for November 3.
